Based in Vienna, Petroleum Engineering and World Technology GmbH is one of the leading independent providers of oil field services in Kazakhstan. Our company history and experience date back to 1991.

Our services
Boosting well productivity
In recent years, we have focused our services on hydraulic fracturing. This is a technical process which can be used to increase the productivity of existing wells or to reactivate decommissioned wells. In this economically highly attractive segment, our operating subsidiary Petro Welt Technologies Kazakhstan LLP has established an excellent market position in Kazakhstan. Our customers include the most important oil and gas producers in the region.

Our core market, Kazakhstan, is one of the world’s most important energy producers and has recently established itself as a strategic supplier to the European energy market. With a production volume of around 2 million barrels of oil per day and growing gas production, the country not only secures around 11 percent of the EU’s oil imports, but also contributes to global market stability. This makes Kazakhstan a key partner for Europe in reducing its dependence on Russian energy supplies.
